Custom Development

Our goal with MindModel® is to provide a wide group of people with software they can use right out of the box, to create relational databases on whatever topics are most important to them.

MindModel does a lot, but it certainly doesn’t fit every situation.

Adam Leffert, the inventor and developer of MindModel, offers freelance tech strategy and software development services as described on that web site.

Find Restaurants Near Me

When a client hires a developer to do custom work, the client determines the functionality of the site. The site might be confidential, or used exclusively by the client's employees or partners. This is good for the client, but can leave the developer with lots of experience, but nothing relatable to show.

To help improve this situation, Adam wrote a responsive web app that works on desktop web, iOS and Android. This app shows a list of restaurants near your current location, or any location in the US that you specify.

It’s 100% free to use. Check it out here:

and a chat bot version of the site:

Invisible Solutions

Stephen Shapiro, author of the problem-solving book Invisible Solutions, chose Adam to collaborate with on certain aspects of this book.

Adam provided content strategy for the book, including coming up with the “Invisible Solutions” title.

Adam Leffert designed and developed the Lens Browser software, to support Stephen’s readers. This responsive web app (Mac, PC, iOS, Android) allows users to browse cards representing each lens described in the book. Each card contains helpful info and a video explaining how to use the lens.

With the Lens Browser in place, Stephen and Adam are collaborating on the design of chat bot software, to further enable Stephen’s readers to learn and take advantage of the Invisible Solutions problem-solving process.

Quora

Lucky for Adam, Quora allows anyone to talk about pretty much anything, so he has taken the opportunity to answer 1,400 questions about tech and life. 4.2M views so far, which has given him the opportunity to reach people around the world and share what he thinks he has learned. Encouraged by some very kind emails saying that his advice has been helpful. A step towards paying forward all the guidance and support he has received over the years.
